The Cisco Firepower 4125 ASA Appliance is engineered for high-end enterprise-level security with a focus on performance, scalability, and visibility. Housed in a compact 1U rack-mountable chassis, this appliance features two NetMod expansion bays for flexible port configuration. Designed for powerful traffic inspection, the unit delivers a maximum throughput of 40 Gbps for firewall with AVC and up to 35 Gbps with full threat protection including IDS/IPS services. It supports up to 200,000 new connections per second and 15 million concurrent connections, making it ideal for high-demand environments such as data centers or large campuses.

Connectivity is optimized through eight 10Gb SFP+ Ethernet interfaces, one management port, and additional USB and RJ-45 interfaces. Its support for VLANs, clustering, high availability, and application visibility helps enhance resiliency and control. With optional power redundancy and internal hot-plug power supplies rated at 1100W, the system maintains critical uptime while operating within a wide environmental tolerance (32 – 104 °F, 5–95% humidity).
