Le commutateur Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series C9300X-48HXN-EDU est un commutateur géré de couche 3 nouvelle génération , conçu pour alimenter les réseaux numériques des établissements d'enseignement et des infrastructures d'entreprise. Il dispose de 48 ports , dont 8 prennent en charge le multi-gigabit 10G et 40 ports la 5G , tous compatibles avec la technologie UPOE+ de Cisco, jusqu'à 90 W pour les appareils PoE haute puissance. Avec une capacité de commutation de 2 000 Gbit/s et jusqu'à 3 000 Gbit/s avec empilement , il gère facilement les applications gourmandes en bande passante. Ce commutateur intègre également 16 Go de RAM, 16 Go de mémoire flash et des protocoles de routage avancés tels que BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc., garantissant une polyvalence évolutive et des performances réseau élevées.

Conforme aux normes IEEE et 80 PLUS Platinum , ce commutateur privilégie l'efficacité énergétique et la fiabilité opérationnelle à long terme (MTBF de 188 200 heures) . Il prend en charge l'alimentation interne enfichable à chaud et une redondance d'alimentation optionnelle jusqu'à 1 100 W. Il intègre des technologies de sécurité et de virtualisation avancées telles que le chiffrement MACsec, TrustSec, LISP et VXLAN, et est gérable via un large éventail de protocoles, dont NETCONF, RESTCONF, SNMP et gRPC. La qualité de service intégrée, la capacité ACL étendue, la prise en charge des trames jumbo (9 198 octets) et une architecture VLAN robuste favorisent un contrôle précis du trafic et une segmentation du réseau, idéal pour les applications convergentes telles que la voix, la vidéo et les données.
