With 512MB DRAM and 128MB Flash memory, the device supports 10,000 concurrent connections and manages up to 4000 new connections per second, making it ideal for mid-scale environments with dynamic traffic demands.

This unit supports 8 total Ethernet ports and includes 2 PoE-enabled ports, providing the flexibility to power devices directly. The Cisco ASA 5505 supports advanced web content filtering and robust data encryption through 3DES/AES standards.
