The Cisco Nexus N9K-C9336C-FX2 is a powerful Layer 3 managed switch built for data-intensive environments requiring optimal speed and flexibility. It's second to none in data center scalability, featuring MACsec encryption, VxLAN/EVPN, vPC support, and comprehensive Layer 2/3 protocol support including OSPF, BGP, and MPLS. Advanced security and traffic control are enabled through extensive ACL entry capabilities (5,000 ingress, 2,000 egress) and multicast support of up to 32,000 routes. The device also includes 24 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD to support complex configurations and high availability operations.

Designed with front-to-back airflow and an optional dual power supply configuration, it offers enhanced cooling and redundancy. With a system buffer of 40MB, robust STP, MSTP, and multiple VRF (up to 16,000 instances), it is ideal for large-scale virtualized or segmented network designs. Built-in management and console interfaces, including serial, RJ-45 and SFP+, ensure straightforward configuration and monitoring.
